Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Using Air Movement for Drying

6/21/2018 (Permalink)

Before we have completed the drying of a water damaged room, it will be disinfected. After spraying a disinfectant the area with flood damage will also be sprayed with a product that inhibits the growth of mold. The mitigation of this part of the job is important. This process needs to be done quickly and efficiently to avoid having mold and bacteria to continue to spread, ruining any chance at a water damage restoration.

Drying With Air Movement

Whether you have water in your home or water in your business after water cleanup, you need to begin the process of drying. Open the doors and windows to allow natural air movement if it's not humid out. SERVPRO of Carrollton have air movers capable of producing a large amount of air flow that  work faster and can be directed at the worst parts of the water damage.
